This course aims to introduce students to the fundamentals of wireless communications, focusing on the mathematical modeling, analysis and performance evaluation, and fundamental limits of wireless transmission systems in order to develop the basis for research in this field. Emphasis will be given to the principles that apply to all such systems, rather than the details of any particular technology or standard.
